Hidden in the middle is a magnet, allowing for easy stacking and organization of these coasters. The leather has been treated with a waterproof wax.

Story: One day, I just came up with the idea to make art using leather of different colors and cutting them into intersecting shapes. I started off with a few designs and thought a coaster would be a good staring point to showcase those designs.  This is part of a special fall holiday collection
